Often countries located towards the easy like India find much popularity with tile flooring. A tile is basically a manufactured form of hard material using the ingredients ceramic floor tiles, stone, metal or sometimes even glass! Tiles can be used for covering not only floors but also for roofs and walls, thus diversifying their usage. Usually square or rectangular tiles are used, they are relatively not too expensive sort of flooring because over the decades the manufacturing process has become more efficient allowing mass production especially for porcelain and glass tiles.

Floor tiling though not very expensive isn’t all that popular in the United States of America, people probably just are that fond of tile flooring. One thing I would like to agree with them is that tile flooring isn’t always all that impressive or marvelous to look at. Maybe I haven’t seen exquisite tile flooring but then I talk from what I have seen, marble is surely a luxury compared to tile flooring. Besides, in earth quake prone zones tiles are probably not preferred as much as wood flooring since it probably costs even less besides giving a more natural and impressive look to the home!
